I was just wondering that since CUDA preferences are set at Yeti, or so I've been told since I don't Yeti, how will CUDA preferences be set if I use BAM! Suppose I want Einstein to use CUDA apps, but not Lattice? The way I understand it now, if I have a GPU card, which I now have, anything that uses a CUDA enabled app will automatically get to use the GPU.

It requires the project to create a setting for it. I know they have such a thing at SETI Beta, probably SETI too.

But aren't the project preferences overriden by the host's or global preferences with BAM!

My guess is that CUDA settings should follow the settings in your projects, as they don't exist in the BAM preference set yet. BAM will update the preferences that it has in its set on your projects, so the CUDA settings and others that BAM doesn't have are probably still their default values.

Nope. BAM sends your preferences to the projects, and the projects send it to your computer.

If it's not supported by the project, it won't do any good for BAM to support it.
