Hello,

I've the following issue that I would like to resolve if possible:

When I search in BOINC Stats I see my old account (https://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/user/detail/16934/projectList).
I've renamed it some time ago to my current account (as far as I remember).

Anyway it seems that it has been duplicated in some way so I tried to log into the old account but I am receiving "Account not found" (https://boincstats.com/en/bam/accountRecovery). It seems that there is no such account (as it should be).

So I tried to rename my current username to the old username (I want to extract the stats if possible, or just to delete the old account) but I am receiving "Username already in use" when I try to change my current username or register new account with that username.

I've searched in the forum but still if there is a similar issue I am sorry for the duplicated post.

The problem might be linked with the fact that on the old account there is a retired project (AQUA@home)

Regards!

The link you provided points to an account named "ProHost" so I assume you changed it back... If that account holds only inactive projects, you probably have the dreaded "split CPID". Once you have the account name changed to match your current one, attach one host to ALL of the projects you've ever computed and let them update with the servers. That will update your CPID at those projects to match your current one. A CPID (cross-project ID) is a key created by the BOINC Manager to identify your account between projects; there are various reasons (some beyond your control) that the CPID can be changed, and when that happens it will only be updated at your active projects. So, the inactive ones keep your old ID and that's how your stats get split off.

That is correct - the account name is "РroНоst" and it was the name of my current account or less probably my another of my old accounts.
I tried to login the account, so I can change the account name as you've pointed, but I am receiving an error "Account not found". That is when I try the option "Problem with login" and enter the current username.
So I tried renaming my current account to "РroНоst" but an error "Username already in use" occurs.

Are you trying to log in at BOINCstats/BAM or the project sites? If you're trying the old login here, it won't work--just because there are stats for a particular user name does not mean there is a website account associated with them. The stats portion of this site is just pulling information from the projects; the easiest way to fix it without causing more issues would probably be to go to the projects and update your account info there. Then, you can attach those projects to BAM if you wish, but make sure you attach one host to all of those projects as well as your new ones, to synchronize the CPID I spoke of earlier. That will fix the stats side of things.

I see. Now I tried login to the projects (not BOINC BAM) but when I try to reset the password I receive a message "There is no account with that email" - I've tried several possible email - almost sure there is no such account in the project (LHC@home, SETI@home, Einstein@home, AQUA@home is retired).
Anyway I've just wanted to extract the credits if possible, it's not so important, I'll catch up with it.
Thank you for your time!
Have a great day!
