Hi there,

at first, I tried searching, but I wasn't sure what I should search...so I could missed something. sorry for that.

today Boincstats gave my Laptop a new Host-ID. I assume because of the last Windowsupdate. No(!) project did so.

old ID
https://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/host/detail/de8a64f22b46174a278e009f540f80ef
new ID
https://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/host/detail/f66644432569778be32a87fe5b2b0f3d

this is mostly a bit annoying. It would be nice if Boincstats could handle this the same way as the projects do

Something is wired.

the old ID gets all the credits granted, but the new ID is connecting to Boincstats...please fix this...

BOINCstats doesn't make up CPID's on its own, it only uses the CPID's assigned by the projects.

I've had this in the past. In 'Host List', under the 'Last contacted BAM!' column, you'll see one of them has a date that no longer changes. Eventually, (after 30 days I think) it disappears from 'Host List'. If you then click the 'Show all hosts' link, it will appear in the list, with a red cross somewhere in the line. Clicking the red cross will allow you to delete that host. After that everything syncs in the newer host.
Well, at least that's what happened to a few of my Android phones that experienced the specific issue I have quoted here.

Hope this is helpful.

I'm sory Willy, but no other project has assigned a new ID to my Host. I checked it already twice
