BOINCStatus appears to be only picking up one of the three Stat's now that the project has restarted. The Admin provided this URL

https://denis.usj.es/denisathome/stats/

Thanks

I am not experienced enough to look at the files presented at this URL location to determine if the Data is good or not ?
Is this enough for BOINCStats to restart posting of stat's or are we better off waiting until the project is more stable ?

Thanks

It's a good idea to hide "Apache/2.4.41 (Ubuntu) Server at denis.usj.es Port 443" in your Apache config, it gives hackers information about your server which you don't want to share.

Otherwise the contents looks good.

On the BOINCStat's DENIS detailed stat's page only one stat appears to be being harvested ?

Willie

You received a big "Thank You" back from the Admin at DENIS for your security suggestion and he has implemented it.

DENIS@Home user XML took 1 seconds to download
DENIS@Home user XML too small (5777 < 60683.5).

This usually indicates a problem with the exported file, for example an empty file or a broken off export. Therefor the export is ignored. Are users removed from the project resulting in this smaller file?

Indeed, as earlier reported in retired projects. You have to give consent into exporting your stats now.

Willie
Two strong issues that might effect this. Both have been documented.
1. The project had a Database crash that effected User accounts prior to the shutdown
2. The project has implemented GDPR and Stat's export approval required for user stat's export during this restart of project.

Thanks
Bill F

Well, the thing is, if I import the users now then all users that did not allow export (just yet) or whom were lost when the database crashed will be removed from the stats, their history will be gone and the credits will be deducted from their combined stats.

Maybe give them a little bit more time to allow the export? Or rip the band aid off?

Yesterday I suggested to the PM that he post a news article regarding the Stat's export Profile option. We should probably wait a couple days to see if he follows through and if we err be it on the delay side.

Willie ...

Update the DENIS Admin agrees. He posted a reply back to me stating that he is going to post a news article and do an email to update the users of the new GDPR requirement.

Thanks

Willie,

The DENIS admin posted a news item on 04/05/2022 regarding GDPR and the personal profile requirements.

https://denis.usj.es/denisathome/forum_thread.php?id=206#1602

Thank you

Well Willie it has been 17 days since the DENIS PM posted his GDPR news posting on the 5th. I suspect the majority of users paying much attention have now at least had a chance to act on their profile preferences.
It's probably time to resume credit posting.

@Willy Noticed that since the restart of project DENIS, it is not listed in the left hand drop down menu side bars for Active Projects or in Status Schedulers.
Can it be re-added?

Strange, I checked and it's there in both places.

I can proof it with a screenshot but I think you'll believe me.

Thanks for the link. Don't know why it was off. I don't remember ever going to that menu before today, after turning it back on its now showing.
