@Willy,
In the last 24 to 48 hours the LHC@Home project information has duplicated info over to LHCathome-dev .
I don't have any registration or credit on the LHCathome-dev project.
Several others have mentioned same thing in the Shout Box

See below from today's stats listings:
LHC@Home	165,376.50	0.11	0	113	481	1,156	3,350	0 	0 	4 	26	884
LHCathome-dev 165,376.50 0.11 0 0 0 0 3,345 0 0 0 26 884

The only way that can happen is when LHC itself duplicated the results or the URL of dev now points to the producten site.

Thank you Willy for looking at it.
Anyone else that has same problem here is a link to a forum topic at LHC to follow along:

Being nosey (at least sometimes) I just tried if I could find my non-existing account on LHC-Dev through Boincstats BAM!
I could not, so it seems that at least only stats have been duplicated somehow, not the user database.

As far as I have seen, it is correct that the error was introduced by LHC-dev.
How can the error be repaired?
Does the error have to be repaired by a transfer from LHC, or does it have to be done within BOINCstats?

Only LHC-DEV can hand out the correct data.
So Willy will just have to update Boincstats until (well, and also after... ) LHC-DEV fixes the issue.

I would propose to retire the project, its only there for testing purposes so not intresting to track credit on in my view.

Several admins/moderators at LHC have responded and said that the actual exported data is correct, so something on the stats site(s) is causing them to be duplicated...

@Willy,

I'm really sorry to bother you again with this issue.

I'm noticed, that some files on the lhc-dev are not so easy to get for 'normal' people like me.
There apperas "forbidden"-messages for me on some files.
This is OK fore me, but you should get the files.
It seems as you do not get it eihgter. Maybe there is the point of problem.
On your project stats I can see:

Last update user XML 2024-01-26 08:51:04 UTC (46 days 07:36:00 old)
Last update host XML 2024-03-12 13:05:04 UTC (03:22:00 old)
Last update team XML 2024-01-26 08:51:04 UTC (46 days 07:36:00 old)

-> You did not get any user or team files for BOINCstats since the day off the mess on 26.01.2024.

Maybe you could check this manually. So it will be visible for you if the filepermissions are set correcly on the lhc-dev export directory.
This would be an good explanation for this issue.

Good luck!

The issue is fixed. It was my protection against corrupt files. It has happened that a export at a project crashed resulting in a partial file. My check compares the size of the new export against the previous one and if it is much smaller then the new export is ignored. After LHC-dev exported the stats from the main project on their website the size of the files was much larger. Then when they corrected it my protection kicked in.

Unfortunately I didn't realize this earlier.

Tracking down weird problems like that can be really difficult sometimes, but I'm glad you were able to get it fixed! And the numbers are showing correctly now. Thank you!
