Since yesterday's Firefox update (2007.II.08), I can not display signature graphics - anyone's.

I receive this error:

The image “http://www.boincstats.com/signature/user_ xxxxxx .gif” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

replace xxxxxx with appropriate number

This is the case with Win2000/XP/Vista and Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon.

There does not seem to be any setting change with Firefox that I can find.

Interesting that, in preview, "green" displays two different shades of green.

Having FF 2.0.0.12 here myself on Windows XP, works fine for me.

Bizarre. 5 computers, 4 operating systems, all with the same problem since the Firefox update. Shall try to determine what the problem is and post the result. Thanks for the info.

Found the real problem. It's not your FF. The signature code tried to read from a table that was supposed to be not in use anymore and I removed it today. In the sig code was a line that read that table, but didn't do anything with the data. And now it crashed on it.

Well that's cool as I thought it strange the only solution I got that actually worked was to go to options, content, load images automatically and force allow www.boincstats.com. Your fix was faster than my doing this to all the computers.

Thank you so very much.
