Is this a small bug?

http://www.boincstats.com/stats/user_graph...rosetta&id=4477

That page says PY 222 is in 2nd place in the Malaysia stats, but when you follow the link to the 'position in Country stats' page you see he's actually in 1st place - and by a significant margin, so he's been in 1st for quite a while.

Solved.

Was inherited from the time the credits were stored in a (less accurate) float instead of a double.

Solved.

Was inherited from the time the credits were stored in a (less accurate) float instead of a double.

Now that page says he's in 0th place on the county stats.

Is the float/double thing likely to effect many other people? I've noticed before the numbers don't always match up for me and my own team, but always put that down to the tables being calculated at different times.

At the moment, my team's stats page (here) says we're in 2nd in the UK for Rosetta but we're actually in 3rd (and have never been in 2nd).

Actually, the more I look at it now, it seems as if the "position in country stats" numbers are always 1 less than the real position.

...and every team as far as I see. Look at Austria:Teams, you will find boinc.at in pos. 12. Then change to this team's Boinc-page, it tells you, that this team is ranked 11. Just checked after daily update a few minutes ago.
If the definition of a team's nationality is the same in both cases, then it's a bug (starting the counting loop at zero? or losing Teams on GROUP BY?). If not, the definition of this property should be made public.

[edit] 16:45 GMT Now running Update Seti@home hosts -> pos. are 12/12 [/edit]

Pardon?

For example Nationality of a team: Is this the value the founder fixed, or if international, the Nationality of the greater part of team members.
I mentioned this because after daily update the positions were 12/11, while and after host updates it corrected to 12/12 and is still now. Maybe it's some query in the daily update that doesn't do what you/we want it to...

Being in stats bizz since end of the seventies, just a question...

[edit] BTW you are alreeady using public definitions: Recent average credit (projects accumulated) or Recent average credit (according to BOINCstats) [/edit]
