As you can see here, the Russian translation is 97% finished, the only missing part is the flag in the title row. By manually giving ru.boincstats.com in the URL-line you will see next to everything in Русский язык

The Russian Translator never gave the OK to make the Russian language public. Maybe there are many errors in it.
Please do not PM, IM or email me for support (they will go unread/ignored). Use the forum for support.

I just check - looks pretty much OK. I can say - it's ready 90-95%. May be you can give me email of that Russian Translator and we'll make long story short?

Really nothing to be sorry about, and sorry for not thanking you for your offer
I just had a wee peek in ru., and even the google ads are kyrillic

As you can see, my german translation is only 92%, but it's complete, as the other phrases or names are the same in english and german, but probably in russian it should be 100% as you use different letters. Ja nje snaju, ja nje govarju porusskij

I mean - there are pretty much Russians crunching and you know this - quiet few of them speaking English. So my "plan" is to make Russian people one step closer toward BOINC :-)

Regarding translation - I do believe that there is no necessity to translate smth like "BOINC", but rest 92-95% to be translated in russian using cyrillic letters.

My Mom spoke German fluently, but me - English and French only...

My Mom speaks German fluently as well, but of course she is German

I know the letters and some words still from High-school, where I learned it for 3 years, but as I never practised it, there's nothing besides Ja Nje Snaju, or Mnje zavut Saenger, Russian was nothing I could use either on holidays nor in further education as a west-German. I know English quite good and can still read Dutch, speaking is something completely different

Is your nick a nice try to get cyrillic letters written in latin ones, pronounced Stary or something?

Happy Vollgascrunching (and Vollgastranslating as well )

That's OK that your Mom speak German, man :-)

I do believe that Russian is one of the most complecated languages to learn. Really, tons of rules, but the worst things - tons of exceptions from these rules. No way u can remember this, just practice and that's it :-)

U've got it - it's "cyrillic" letters :-) My nick means "Old man"

This summer I wanna get 597(9)0 for MW and may be GTX470 for GPUGRID, so it's gonna be more :-)

Good luck, man :-)

Hope I can help with translation and finally we'll make it done.

Hello. Where I should report misspellings in russian translation? Here? Or maybe into the topic "Language Errors submit rules"? Unfortunately I cant find clear information about it.

The "My detailed stats" page contains this:

1. "Последнее среднее изменение позиции за денб", should be "Последнее среднее изменение позиции за день"
2. "Накоплено очков боьше, чем % от всех BOINC combined Участников" -> "Накоплено очков больше, чем % от всех BOINC combined Участников"
3. "Накоплено очков боьше, чем % от всех Страна Участников" -> "Накоплено очков больше, чем % от всех Страна Участников". And the best if it will looks like: "Накоплено очков больше, чем % от всех Участников Страны", but look at next issue.
4. This is not a misspellings, but a poor translation. For example: "Позиция в Команда", should be "Позиция в Команде". As I can see this is the program substitution of word "Команда" into something like "Позиция в %s". There are some other errors like this. I know, that is may be a pain to fix it... And I can help with this, if you interested.

The "My project page": http://boincstats.com/ru/stats/-1/user/detail/2501507/projectList
1. It will be better, to translate "team position" as "Позиция в команде", not as "Позиция команды". The "Позиция команды" means something like "Team position in the team stats", not like "Your position in the list of team members".
2. The same with "Country position". Should be "Позиция в стране".

Some more misspellings. Now http://boincstats.com/ru/page/faq
[list=1]
  • "Если вы не можете выяснить, как сделать эти две вещи, пожалуйста, обратитесь на соответствующие сайта - без этого BOINCstats не может помочь вам в дальнейшем." Should be "на соответствующие сайты"
  • "Only users, teams, hosts and countries with at least one (1) total credit are listed!

  • When an update is running, there is no check for new XML files until the update is finished. This is why the time since last update can be more than one hour.

Until this date, BOINCstats never failed to run its daily update , which means: when new credit is granted and the XML output by the project is OK, you'll get your credit on BOINCstats within 25 hours."
Translation for this: "В списке присутствуют только те пользователи, команды, хосты и страны, которые имеют ненулевой кредит.

Во время выполнения обновления, не проводится проверок на наличие новых XML файлов. Именно по этой причине время с последнего обновления может быть больше одного часа.

До сих пор BOINCstats всегда выполнял ежедневные обновления успешно, что значит, что если Вам начислены очки и с проектом всё в порядке, то Вы увидите эти очки в течение не более 25 часов."
  • "Просто подождите некоторое время, и учетные записи объединтся автоматически." should be "объединятся".
  • "При подключении к новому проекту, или подключаетесь повторно к проектам, которые были перезапущены после повреждения, то Ваш CPID для проекта может измениться." Should be somthing like this:
  • "Ваш CPID может измениться при подключении к новому проекту, или при повторном подключении к проектам, перезапущенным после сбоя."
  • "Очки заработанные в этих проектах всегда будут частью вашего общего BOINC-счета, кроме случаев, когда ваш CPID изменился и отличается ототключенного проекта." fogotten space: "от отключённого".
  • "Это может быть решено только посещением всхе проектов", "всхе" -> "всех".

Phrase "based on daily update numbers" used in graphs here: http://boincstats.com/en/stats/-1/country/detail/25/charts
It translated as "количество основных ежедневных обновлений". But as for me, the translation seems senseless. Or at least having no relationship with subject. It should be "на основе ежедневных обновлений".

Is it possible for me to get a ru-translation files? Seems, that there are many errors/misspelings, and I think it would be best if I have those files, read it out, and make patches in diff format. Your burden in correction of errors would be much lighter. =)
