Hi,

I guess this is for Willy: why is RieselSieve not updating/updated for the last 2 days? Maybe a missing or an old XML file??

There is nothing on this subject at RieselSieve itself...
Regards,

Wimtea

WimTea,

I too noticed this and posted at RS.

RS Thread

Bryan started the following thread here at BS. Looks like it should start working today now that Willy has figured out what was causing the problem.

20 hours have passed since Willy's post of finding the potential solution but alas, no RS stats have come across to BOINCstats. Not really sure though how often projects export the XML files although I would think it would definately update at some point during a 24 hour cycle.

Since the XML stats from RS is being picked up correctly on Boinc Synergy's site, it's definately an incompatibility issue here at. At least we will all be seeing a really nice daily spike in our RS credits once they do show.... Happy crunching!

It's a DNS issue. Debian has a DNS cache with a lifetime of six days. BOINCstats server still has the old IP in cache.

If anybody knows the Linux (Debian) equivalent of "ipconfig /flushdns", please post it here.

Willy,

Did you find and run the command? The RS stats did update today so whatever it was appears to have been resolved. Or did the 6 day DNS cache just flush/renew today so it "fixed itself"???

Anyways, thanks for getting this working.

I temporarily replaced the Riesel URL by it's IP. Only works for stats, not for BAM!.
