i am also a little confused about boinc stats, if i search for my boinc username in the search at the top, i can find myself and see all my combined stats,
however i do not have any of my projects in the "projects list", should i?
how does this work when i am using boinc on several computers?,
i like to set the preferences of boinc seperatly on each computer, will attaching my projects in the "project list" affect this?
thanks
can anyone help me
On this topic, there is BOINCStats and BAM.
BOINCStats is just a stats site. BAM is a BOINC Account Manager. A central location for controlling all of your projects and hosts.
Since you are referencing your project list, I have to assume you are talking about BAM. To get projects in to your project list you must use the "Sign-up for projects" link. Then click the Find Account radio button for any project that you are already signed up for.
NOTE - Username, password and e-mail address at all the projects must be the same as your BAM username, password and e-mail address.
If you decide to join more projects in the future you can just sign up here. (WCG is the only exception.)
You can also control general BOINC preferences and resource allocation here.
To control hosts, the host must be attached to BAM. That is done in the BOINC Manager under Tools. Once a host is connected you can control a number of things, for all hosts, or a specific host.
There is a lot of information if you click the BOINC BAM! link at the top and in the FAQ's (link just above the link to the Forum).
Happy BOINCing and welcome to BAM!
