Is there a way that I can filter out my stats when a newbie decides to use the same id?

Hmmm... had to register to reply, guess I didn't make that very clear, I have been using pieface as my userid.

Your unique ID is not your username. Eache project assigns you a unique user-ID (a number) and a unique CPID (a hex-number used to identify you accros projects).

Usernames can be used by different people and it won't cause a problem.

I think I lost the scope of this topic. What is it you'd like to know. Everything seems perfectly OK for your account AND your combined account.

My fault entirely. I should have taken a time-out with a cold beer in my hand and thought it through before firing off a note!

When I come into boincstats I usually just enter pieface in the user/team searchbox in the upper left corner, and scan down through the results. Today that returned a couple of extra lines, one in the BOINC total area and one down in SETI. Apparently someone new is using 'pieface'.

It finally dawned on me where you were going with the userid - 145480 - the one that returns the Boincstat display which still be returns just my data. Entirely tooooo many numeric identifiers for this one old pieface. So when I want to see the details for any particular project, I can do my search the same as always and then just select the ones with the old stars and stripes and not the ones with the union-jack!!

Thanks again for the great web-site and all your quick replies. If I ever get over to that side of the big pond again I will have to look you up and buy you a couple of beer's.

It seems the second pieface is Simon Kirke in several other projects. <!--emo&-->
