After reading the first thread about changing email addresses, I have a second question along this line.

Which do I change first...each individual project, or BOINCstats?

Likewise, I didn't see the link behind "yes" Willie...Clap, Clap!!!

You can't change anything with BOINCstats. However, if you change your email address on your BAM! main account page, the modification will be propagated to all attached projects automatically.

The key point here is "the new email address will be propagated to attached projects automatically", leaving unattached projects in limbo, and then you will not have points from those unattached projects counted towards your total with your new email address. I think it's correct to say this. If you're not connected to a project how will it ever know of a new email address?

So to get around this, it would probably be better to change your email on all your past and present present projects first. I wish I has done that. Or, if you can't get hold of what projects you were involved in with your old email address, you could try a batch file I knocked up. You can copy and paste it from http://freetexthost.com/jml1pwdz4d. Just replace email@address.com with yours and replace password with yours. Then run it in a command prompt and redirect the output to a file. (This is all assuming you're with Windows.) This worked for me. I found my projects with my old email address, then promptly updated them to my new one. BAM has yet to update my stats but in time I'm sure it will.

If anyone has a better way to do this or more URLs to check in my file, I'm all ears.
