In reconstructing my computer following a meltdown of sorts, I am having trouble getting BOINC Manager to connect to the clients. If I reinstall BOINC Manager it connects and runs perfectly with all of my projects (SETI, Cosmology & Milky Way). When I shut down and start up again, or restart, the process fails. I get messages that BOINC Manager is not able to connect to a client, or that BOINC client has exited unexpectedly 3 times within the last 3 minutes.

Please help!!

Bruce, I finally got BOINC Manager to maintain its links with clients. I had to restore my computer to its original state four times before it worked. I might have messed up on the procedures when finding the attempt unsuccessful. After the bad install of Windows 8, my system was pretty much toast. I am still picking up the piecxes but am back with Windows 7.
