DrugDiscovery@home doesn't actually have anything currently going on. The project has been completely revamped and according to one of the founders, work is suppose to start 'soon.'

DrugDiscovery shut down and relaunched anew last year BUT there is nothing setup for BOINC, just a website.

There is (last I looked recently) nothingthat points to that at http://drugdiscoveryathome.com/ which is the site they were advertising last year.


Ahh... it looks like it's finally active OR someone realized the doors hadn't been opened. I've been waiting some months for them to open up.

SubsetSum@Home retired in November 2016 which was the only subproject that had an ARM/Android client.

ADVISORY on Android on WCG:

If you search the World Community Grid forums on: SIGSEGV
You'll see lots of reports but ZERO responses from the WCG team about large if not all WUs failing. This has been reported as far back as May (I didn't delve into anything older than that) with nothing from the WCG folks about this. It was reported again in December and still nothing.

So there should be a note for WCG Android that your device may or may not work, regardless of it being a brand name or off-brand. I had 2 Moto X phones that had this issue and I saw one person reported their Samsung Galaxy tablet.

This issue runs across all their projects that support Android.

Just participated in the WCG challenge and got almost no credit on my phones for it.

P.S. There are no GPU supported projects currently and haven't been any in a whiles so OpenCL is a mote point.

Current goal of the project is to find all amicable pairs with smallest member < 264.

New POGS BETA project: Sourcefinder

Sourcefinder is about testing the performance and quality of the Duchamp Sourcefinding application. We've built a simulated cube of the sky containing various radio sources, and it's the job of Duchamp to work out where the sources are. We plan on running Duchamp over the whole cube of simulated data to work how many of the radio sources in the cube it can find. Duchamp will need to be able to identify correct sources while keeping false positives to a minimum.
