Hello, i do not speak English, I am using a translator.

I've been watching the activity of the network and the network traffic from the Network Monitor of the Kaspersky Internet Security 2015 and I see Boinc client is the most traffic is generating, beating other applications sending and receiving data, I noticed that It spends a lot of time sending and receiving data even when Boinc Manager / Boinc client is not downloading new tasks or sending completed tasks.

The question is what is sent and received?

Thank you.

If you go into the BOINC Manager and have a look at the event log (Tools > Event Log) you should see a bunch of "scheduler" requests and the like. Even if not uploading/downloading tasks, many projects have the client check in from time to time. There are a number of reasons for this; if it's a problem for you, there are preferences to limit network activity to times you specify if bandwidth is an issue for you.

This is not a problem, I just had doubts about what is sent and received as KIS shows significant data traffic in and out.

Thanks for your answer.
