Hello Folks.

I recently obtained a 4GB Raspberry Pi 4 and wanted to run BOINC on it for a while. I have 2 Pi 3B+s running BOINC using BAM as the project manager.

When I installed Raspian Buster (from NOOBS) I did the usual BOINC install. sudo apt-get install boinc-client boinc-manager

However when I try to attach to a project manager none are listed and manually trying https://bam.boincstats.com just seems to crash BOINC?

Any ideas?

With my Raspberry Pi's I always first install synaptic
Code:
sudo apt-get install synaptic
, and then let synaptic search for all BOINC related software.
That includes more than a simple
Code:
sudo apt-get install boinc-client boinc-manager
install will give, and synaptic also gives information about your potential choices.
I also found out that 'wired' is to be preferred over 'wifi', when it comes to a stable connection.
