A lot of people did not know of the existance and state of the different ports for other, not offical supported ports of the BOINC Client and SETI Enhanced for other platforms.
Here is a collection of the available BOINC binaries with BOINC > 5.x, according to the third party site (http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/DownloadOther):

Maybe if I get some ambition, I'll drag the old Sparc stations, and NetApp filers with Alpha chips out of the back of the garage one of these days and see how they do on Boinc.

Btw. what OS does on the NetApp filers run ? - The only I knew is Data Ontap.

The age of this thread is depressing. I would love an updated list. I am particularly interested in anything that runs on linux-ppc & any OS on SPARC. I have been away from PPC, SPARC, and Linux in general for a few years, and my recent research seems to suggest that there is no way I can use these CPUs for any BOINC project. Please prove me wrong!

Not sure what PowerPC machines you're running, but I've noticed that Linux PPC has totally dropped off WUprop, so either nobody from there has that CPU/OS combination anymore or there are no longer any projects that support it. There are, however, a few projects that are still holding out with OS X PPC support.
