Today I have released Dotsch/UX 1.0. - Dotsch/UX is a Linux distribution for BOINC which easily installs and boot from a USB stick, hard disk and from diskless clients and also has some interfaces to setup the diskless server and the clients automatically.

The big difference is, that his distribution is for USB sticks only. My distrirbtion works on USB sticks, from the harddisk and let easily setup as diskless server and also add easily with a few steps several diskless clients.
His distribution is text console only, at mine distribution you could switch between the graphical desktop and the text console.

Do I get it right that this is like "BoincPortable"? I put it on a USB stick, boot a computer from that stick and it crunches under my regular BAM-account? And it has a graphical interface for people like me that never made any contact to linux?

Sort of, I don't think you would want to take it around to different computers, though. You'd wind up with a lot of errors, hopping around to different processors.

Yes, but it's a lot of more than BOINC Portable. Dotsch/UX is installable on hard disk, USB stick and has the tools included to setup a server for diskless clients wich boot from the network.

Per default the graphical GNOME desktop is enabled, but can also disabled...
A screenshot is available here : http://www.dotsch.de/Dotsch_UX/screenshot.png and the install process also graphical. For example, the USB Installation http://www.dotsch.de/boinc/DotschUX-USB_Installation.html and the installation on the hard disk http://www.dotsch.de/boinc/DotschUX-HDD_Installation.html

for the USB, hard disk, diskless server and diskless client Installation tools.
