After attempting to run 13 projects for two weeks and realising that 6 of them were not getting any work, I have decided to detactch from them to leave my computer running on just those with plently of work. Having removed them from BionicStats, they are still showing in my Bionicmanager. I have syncronised them but they still show as "communication deferred".
Any ideas?

Thank you.

Are you using BAM!?

**Lets simplify this.. what did you use to connect the projects to your host? just tools then attach to project in your BOINC?

***Also its BOINC, Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing

Sorry for the late reply.
Yes I am running BAM. I attached them to the host via, this website (sign up for projects).
Under my project list it is just showing the 6 remaining projects that are running, but as I say the other 7 projects still appear in BIONIC manager under the statistics tab. Are they suppose to stay there as a kind of history of all projects?
The projects tab still shows all projects, although I have set the 6 non used projects to NO NEW TASK.
Thanks again.

Unless you set them to detach in the project resources section of BAM!, they will stay in the project list of the BOINC manager.

PJ, if you don´t want to see those projects in BOINC Manager, detach those projects by pressing detach project from the Projects Tab in BOINC Manager.

I detached CPDN Seasonal Attribution probably a couple of months ago from my BOINCstats account and yet they're still on my clients. The "detach project" button on the client itself is grayed out. Would also appreciate any information on how to get rid of it on the clients.

Did you "detach all hosts now" and update from the resources section? Also, make sure it's not set to attach new host by default. Lastly, try and update the client manually through BOINC using Tools > Synchronize with BOINCstats BAM!
