My Climate debt is -250,000 and seti debt is +250,000.

Can I reset the values to 0 by editing the XML file, without haviong to reset the individual applications (62% through climate WU)

Thanking ye all.

You can. Exit the client first then edit the file. It is generally better to let them do their own thing though.

i've being trying.

I'm using the optimised seti client and no matter how many wu's I crunch the debt keeps going up. and the climate debt keeps going down into the negative. if it continues by the time the wu is finished I should be 500,000 in the negative. it would take weeks to allow it get back to 0 to get a new wu

Thanks for the answer keck. My main worry was that i would fcuk up the xml file by resetting the figures.

Use boincDV (debt viewer) it has a handy "reset LTD" feature, but as with the manual method, make sure boinc isn't running when you do it

you should really look at why this is happening thou, do you suspend projects? have too much work on your computer, or haven't set the resource shares as you'd like them to be?
