My personal background
Electrical Engineer with interest in renewable energy, mainly solar and wind. Have a life partner, child, and two dogs and lots of plants. I love tinkering, good movies, good music, the outdoors, and playing my guitars - electric bass and classical acoustic, hopefully my partner will let me get an acoustic bass soon. Started crunching in November 2000 with SETI Classic (10,839 hours for 628 WU's).

*Electric vehicle conversion (ok, this one is more of a dream... at least 10 years out)

Opinion about BOINCstats/BAM!
BOINCstats (really any stats site) provides an "enjoyment factor" for participating in distributed computing projects and gives a sense of "belonging" with like-minded BOINC freaks!
